Homemade Marshmallow


Ingredients:

  • Micro Ingredients® Organic Marshmallow Root Powder
  • Micro Ingredients® Beef Gelatin Powder
  • Micro Ingredients® Organic Arrowroot Powder
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Maple Syrup
  • Water

 

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix ½ cup cold water with 3 tbsp Beef Gelatin Powder. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

  2. In a saucepan, combine ½ cup water, 2 tbsp Organic Marshmallow Root Powder, and 1 cup maple syrup. Heat over medium and boil for 10 minutes.

  3. Pour the hot syrup into the bloomed gelatin, then add 1 tsp vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on high for 10-15 minutes until thick and fluffy.

  4. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Sprinkle 1~2 tbsp Organic Arrowroot Powder onto the parchment-lined pan.

  5. Transfer the mixture to the pan and let it set at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours.

  6. Once completely firm, cut the marshmallow into squares. Enjoy!
